Sunflowers and 3,000 Fireworks Bloom! Enjoy the Yoshiwa Summer Festival in Two Parts—Same-day Ticket Sales Available for Paid Fireworks Seating

The “Yoshiwa Summer Festival,” featuring a spectacular fireworks display as its main event, will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2024, in the Yoshiwa area of Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture.

Enjoy Both Day and Night with a Two-Part Program
The first part of the summer festival will take place during the day in a sunflower field, offering activities such as sunflower grabbing, mini sunflower pot sales, and a corn-picking experience. Each activity costs 100 yen to participate in. Visitors are free to enjoy viewing and taking photos of the sunflowers. However, the popular Amago fish-catching event will not be held this year.

The second part of the festival starts in the evening at the Yoshiwa Ground, where stage events will kick off with dance and music performances, creating a lively atmosphere. The main event, the fireworks display, is scheduled to begin at 9:00 PM, with approximately 3,000 fireworks set to beautifully illuminate the night sky over Yoshiwa.

Paid Table Seating Available on the Day
Paid table seating, providing a great view of the stage events and fireworks, was available for advance reservation. Of the 88 S seats, 189 A seats, and 176 B seats, about half have been sold, with the remaining seats available for purchase on the day of the festival from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

While most festivals featuring thousands of fireworks are typically held along coastal areas, the Yoshiwa Summer Festival offers a rare opportunity to enjoy a display of 3,000 fireworks in a mountainous region. Why not take this chance to experience it?
