“Kusunoki Fireworks Festival in Iwakuni,” Held for the First Time in 5 Years, to Feature Fireworks Display during Golden Week

The 22nd Iwakuni Kusunoki Fireworks Festival, a Golden Week tradition, will be held at Kusunoki Square in Iwakuni City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.

Last year, fireworks were launched for the first time in four years, avoiding Golden Week, but this year, the event will be held in full swing, alongside daytime festival events.

On the day of the festival, a Shinto ritual will be held at 11 a.m., followed by the start of events at 12 p.m. The fireworks will be launched from 7 p.m. onwards.

At the venue, Kawashimo Elementary School will be available as a temporary parking lot from 11 a.m.

It promises to be a day where the local community comes alive with festivities and fireworks.
