The URBAN FUTURES HIROSHIMA festival, a large-scale urban sports event, will take place over three days from Friday, April 18, to Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Hiroshima Gate Park.
Organized by the Japan Urban Sports Support Council (JUSC), a leading force in Japan’s urban sports scene, this event will feature three national competitions in BMX Freestyle Park & Flatland, Skateboarding, and Parkour. In addition to these high-level tournaments, interactive experience sessions will also be available for visitors to try out the sports firsthand.
Hiroshima has a history of hosting top-tier urban sports events, including the FISE World Series Hiroshima in 2018 and 2019, where elite athletes from around the world competed in BMX, skateboarding, bouldering, and more.
This exciting event promises to bring together top athletes and fans for an electrifying showcase of urban sports culture in Japan!
