The participating chicken dish vendors and performing artists for the “Chicken Fest – Festival of World Beers and Chicken Dishes” to be held at Hiroshima Gate Park during the Golden Week period have been announced.
There will be a total of 13 vendors. Select chicken dish shops from all over Japan, including Hokkaido, Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Miyazaki, will gather in Hiroshima with their proud gourmet offerings. There will also be participation from local Hiroshima vendors.
A variety of chicken dishes will be available
The venue will feature proud chicken dishes from each vendor. Some shops have gone the extra mile, bringing in menu items developed specifically for the Chicken Fest, such as the “Spicy Chicken.” From Yokohama’s Chinatown comes the “Drooling Chicken” made with a secret sauce, and Miyazaki presents authentic grilled chicken skewers. Fukuoka’s representative, “Kawaya,” will offer their signature menu item, “Chicken Skin,” which is baked and rested for six days. Each dish promises a unique and enticing flavor that is sure to tantalize the taste buds of attendees.

Daily performing artists on stage
During the event period, artists will liven up the venue on the special stage. There will be two performances per day, starting at 4:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Since the lineup of artists changes daily, attendees can enjoy a different performance each time.
