Cenotaph for the A-bomb Victims
As the first city in the world to be attached with a nuclear bomb, Hiroshima has emerged as a city
of peace. Underneath the center of the arch is a stone tomb which houses the names of all victims, regardless of race, that perished in the bombing. In 2016 former President Obama also made an appearance, presenting a prayer wreath at the memorial.
