The annual summer event “Sunflower Festival” will once again be held at Sera Kogen Farm in Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture. The festival will run from Saturday, July 26 to Sunday, August 24, 2025.
The venue features a vast sunflower field covering approximately 65,000 square meters. Visitors can enjoy a breathtaking summer landscape as countless sunflowers bloom like a vast yellow sea.
Popular spots from last year that captivated visitors will return, including the “Hatsukoi no Oka” (First Love Hill), where sunflowers bloom in abundance, and the unique and picturesque “White Sunflower Field”—a sight rarely seen elsewhere. The sunflowers are currently growing well and are expected to bloom beautifully during the event.
In addition to admiring the flowers, various attractions will also be available throughout the festival.
At the “HAPPY Summer Bouquet” corner, florists will create stunning sunflower bouquets for sale. The “Surprise Summer Bouquet”, a special gift where the meaning changes depending on the number of sunflowers, can be reserved in advance through the online store and delivered as a surprise to a loved one.
There are also several hands-on experiences perfect for families. Visitors can decorate wind chimes and uchiwa fans, take part in corn harvesting, or enjoy sunflower picking—creating perfect summer memories.
At the on-site shops, guests can indulge in local farm cuisine such as grilled sweet corn and farm-style burgers, known for their fresh ingredients and rich flavors.
Surrounded by the star of summer—the sunflower—visitors to the Sera Kogen Farm Sunflower Festival are sure to enjoy a peaceful and healing escape.
The park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with extended hours on select days during the event period.
